Must visited👌🏼. I really like this bakery on Riverfront. I came here for the first time with my 2 yo son, and even then I noted very friendly staff, since my son was very capricious, I did not feel any inconvenience at all. The staff was very attentive to all my requests. For me service is important part and here staff is helpful and friendly attitude and the owner Galina is very sweet🌸. I love such bright and cozy places! And this bakery has its own pleasant atmosphere. I think it is a delicious place to meet up with friends for a breakfast or just a coffee during a day or on weekend, or even come alone and just relax for a while, like I did today. Today I’ve tried blueberry scone and it’s amazing🤌. The cappuccinos were wonderful too! If you want a authentic pastries that are fresh and delicious you have to come here!
This place is the best when it comes to bakeries. First up, the place is bright and welcoming before you even step in, there’s outdoor seating in a very nice area with an overlook of nature. Going inside, there’s beautiful art pieces that are local from the Delaware contemporary art museum and the aroma of the bakery is to die for. The pastries are out of this world, they were delicious and fresh made in the bakery. The staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming as well. I usually go to the Starbucks down the street but wanted to try out something new and local, I made a great choice with this one. Definitely coming back.
I truly don’t know how anyone could leave less than 5 stars. They must have had unusual circumstances. I don’t know how to capture how amazing the pastries here are. They’re unlike any I’ve ever had, in the U.S or France. Make sure to get the croissant if you only get one thing. It’s light fluffy and crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. They have different croissants with different fillings but the plain on is magnificent. I also highly recommend the delicious crepes, they make it to order and you can customize it however you want sweet or savory.
Nice, clean place with open view kitchen. Atmosphere is great. The croissants 🥐 , scones, cupcakes and turnovers are delicious, and I love being able to get coffee ☕️ La Colombe. Everything I've tried has been fresh and tasty, and the prices seem totally reasonable for the location and what you're getting. Love this bakery!❤️ Excellent customer service as well as pastries!!!
What a wonderful shop! The lights were low but the sign said open so we went in and were delighted. My kids and wife loved the turnovers. The coffee is delicious. And try the marshmallows and caramel filled walnuts. We were passing through but we're glad we found you and will stop by our next time.
This was my first time. I want to forget because everything was excellent and fresh🙏🏽 When I saw Bacon Scones on the menu I drove straight over. The beautiful space smelled of croissants when I walked in. The ham & cheese quiche was the BEST I'VE EVER HAD! I heated it up in the oven@ home for 10 minutes 😘 The bacon scone💥 I put goat cheese & agave on it 🤤 The chicken pesto turnover was excellent cold I heated that up and it was crispy flaky pastry flavorful chicken pesto inside. I had a mini cupcake to go.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thank you for all your hard work🙏🏽
Delicious! Everything we had was fantastic. We had a almond and a chocolate croissant that we loved and came back for a second time..then third time to take some home. Also had several other items, all wonderful, the crepe, the quiches and the fruit tarts they were all perfect and they melted in my mouth, and of course I got some to take home. Each time there was a huge line, but it went very fast. Enjoyed good coffee while eating inside and the atmosphere was great with the staff being very friendly and welcoming. Will be back every time we visit Wilmington.
A hidden gem in Wilmington and such a nice small business. I like to come here for my weekend snacks and sometimes I spend some time reading. The place is always sparkling clean and inviting. Friendly staff and good service. So far have tried their croissant and some mousse desserts. The croissant is flakey and nicely layered. Very generous with the protein serving (I normally get a salmon croissant). The mousse is silky and has the right texture and consistency (Only wish it was a bit less sweet but I'm biased there as I tend to be sensitive to sweetness). Overall a great spot to have some coffee or a snack, or to hangout with your friends.
Great bakery, with plenty of pastry and coffee options. Located right off the river walk in Wilmington, it’s great to grab a coffee and take a walk. The iced black & tan had good flavor and the peach scone was absolutely amazing. Plenty of seating inside and the place was immaculate.
Loved at this place. Love their interior. Their coffee was really good, and they have a bunch of deserts options. There was even a food menu with a lot of options, but we didn't have the chance to order any food, so I'm not really sure about the taste, but I saw other people order food and it looked amazing. I am also so glad that this place stays open late. It's rare to find cafes that stay open late, and that's a shame, so it's great to see that there is one, especially in this area around the river.
